Cultural activities

    City-tutors

    City-tutors are Italian students who already study at the University of Pisa. Each tutor is paired with one or more visiting students to help them better understand the local culture through extra activities in the evenings and during the weekend. City-tutors are carefully selected to be extremely resourceful and to look forward to a cultural exchange with new students.

    Depending on the student’s interests, some of the extra activities may include:

    • Visit to Piazza dei Miracoli (site of the Leaning Tower)
    • Cinema nights
    • Art Exhibitions
    • Concerts
    • Day trip to beaches and nearby towns (such as Lucca or the Cinque Terre)
    • Participation in local events (food festivals/sagre, Giugno Pisano)

    Please note that the University does not cover these expenses
